A friend of mine, who is a HS science teacher, asked me to make a quilt using the colors of the spectrum. She will be teaching the spectrum to her class soon and wanted to hang a quilt outside her classroom door. With a little help from my other quilter friends, this is the pattern I chose. It stretched me a bit since I like country& Civil War Era fabrics. I used the Shamrock fabric for the binding( not done when this picture taken) .Sunday, March 8, 2009
Spectrum quilt
