9-patch scrappy top finished

The top is finished. I made 92 6 1/2"blocks & used 90. Didn't have to use the 2 "humility" blocks but I'm sure there are other blocks in the quilt that will have that designation. The quilt is a double bed size. Now to sandwich & hand quilt it. That will be my "Winter" project.

That's beautiful Barb! Such pretty colors. Hand quilting, huh? Well, aren't you the ambitious one. :) I saw your playday with your friend and the new Cricut too. Did you like it? I saw them on one of the shopping networks and wasn't sure what I think. Well, I did think 'cha-ching' but seems like a lot of people are gobbling them up. Recession? What recession. lol

It's beautiful, Barb! I've never hand-quilted anything bigger than a wall-hanging, but I love to do hand-quilting and love the final look of it, too.
