I saw a bug jar quilt in a Country Women magazine. It looked like it would be fun to make. It's a small quilt & he's a big baby.It was fun trying to find "bugs" for the jars. I did use sea horses in one of the jars and fish in another. I know they aren't bugs but ...needed to fill jars. Since my little guy is the first to use it, I made it with no pink bug fabric. His dad is a real stickler for no pink for his son! But hopefully as more grandchildren come along (girls or boys) , they will all use the bug jar quilt at grandmom's.
