Several posts back, I showed you this cross-stitch 1/2 done. I can now say it's a completed project( except for the framing or whatever I'm going to do with it) . This will be my last cross-stitch done on linen. I just can't see as well as I did when I was in my 30's, 40's, & 50's :) I'll continue to cross-stitch but on 18ct where I can see definate holes. Not just threads.
By the way...There's a great giveaway on Keepsakes by Melissa blog.

Hi Barb! Oh what a beautiful cross stitch! I know what you mean about linen though! I gave that up a long time ago!!! Love the new fabric below too! I'm still a big quilter at heart though I dont do the big ones any more. Thanks for visiting my blog today!!! Have a wonderful Sunday!
This is really pretty, Barb. I'm giggling because I never worked on linen, and my eyes gave up on 18 count years ago! Now I don't even want to try 14 count, I think counted cross stitching is in my past forever. ;)
That is so cute! Congrats on getting that one finished. It's an adorable design.
very nice My grandma was a quilter and made all the grandkids one before passing. A very nice memory!
Anyways, my wifes name is Annette (pastors wife)and she just opened her blog to public setting as she wants to be an encouragement and blessing to people (she is also hoping to do giveaways). I was trying to be an encouragement to her by asking if you would be willing to swing by and say hi as she does not know many people in the blog world? Thank you for considering. Her blog is

That little cross-stitch is just adorable! I've done a couple linen projects, but I'm with you...my eyes couldn't handle it anymore. :P (I'm really behind on my blog reading!)
That is so pretty and it will look so nice in a frame. I have never done anything like that before.
