I've been sewing....

I've been trying hard discipline myself to get up to my sewing room every night( even if for a 1/2 hr) to do my 9-Patch scrappy block. While I'm up there, after the block is completed, I work on my "24 paper-pieced blocks" . Pictured here are the Swing in the Center,Windmill Star & Cross within a Cross, plus a few of the 9-patch scrappies.

I've been seeing the sewing light on in your window at night, so I knew a new post was coming. Congratulations on getting so much done. You know I always love the scrappy blocks, but those paper-pieced batiks are beautiful!

Congrats on keeping with the 9 patches. I've been able to stay with it as well!! Can't wait to see what everyone makes with their blocks.

You are doing a great job plugging along on that....good idea to do a little each night! You know what they say...."Slow but steady wins the race". (I know...I know...this is NOT a race, but it seemed like an appropriate thing to say!!! LOL)
